Enkele maanden geleden reageerde Ladda op de ‘call for papers’ van het Youth 2010, een driedaags congres georganiseerd door verschillende Engelse universiteiten.  Ladda’s alternatief onderzoek, A la karte, werd geselecteerd uit de vele inzendingen.

Concreet betekent dit dat Ladda-researcher Lotte De Bruyne het congres (6-8 Juli 2010) zal bijwonen en het onderzoek A la karte zal presenteren in Surrey (UK)! Ladda in een internationale context, zoals altijd op zoek naar nieuwe invalshoeken, denkers en partners in crime!

Opzet van het congres:
At the end of the first decade of the 21 st Century, in the context of rapid technological change and extensive economic and social uncertainty, the lives and identities of young people continue to be the subject of a broad range of scholarship which is as stimulating as it is important. Bringing together those studying young people from a variety of disciplines and perspectives, Youth 2010 seeks to provide an inclusive and high profile forum for the presentation and discussion of research and ideas.
